Artist Derin Fletcher opens Akron studio

Following earning a diploma in industrial layout, Derin Fletcher shifted to portrait artwork and states her new downtown studio is a desire come correct.

Gaining recognition

Following graduation, Fletcher moved again to Akron and commenced functioning on portraits, commissions and advertising her work on line.

She also responded to a simply call for artists in Cuyahoga County that led to a portrait now showcased on just one of the Bigger Cleveland RTA’s Blue Line trains.

The function depicts American writer Langston Hughes, with a stylized cityscape in the history.
