Lina Barclay and Ellie Nix, two 2022 Arlington Tech graduates from the Arlington Career Center, received the initially-position gold medal in the Television (Video clip) Creation contest at the once-a-year Nationwide Leadership and Techniques Meeting and SkillsUSA Championships, held lately in Atlanta.

Barclay and Nix represented Virginia in this contest and competed towards 37 other groups from across the U.S.

Barclay and Nix arrived in next location in the contest very last year, and ended up established to earn the entire point in 2022.

“Their tricky perform has paid out off and they can proudly say that they are nationwide champions,” O’Day stated.

Barclay will be attending Boston University to study film and Nix will be attending the College of Texas in Austin to review radio, television and movie.
