ALBANY, N.Y. (News10) — The Albany County Disaster Officers Responding and Diverting (ACCORD) system has received $350,000 in state funding for an enlargement. The system is created to make improvements to results for nonviolent unexpected emergency phone calls.
“This is great news for Albany County,” reported Albany County Legislature Chairman Andrew Joyce. “It was just a calendar year ago that Albany County created its original expense for the ACCORD application and proactively changed how we cope with nonviolent phone calls for emergency guidance.
