A cafe in Milan is now back in company following it was closed for approximately five months.

Luli’s Cafe and Bar had to shut due to the fact the proprietor, Al Limani, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and not able to function.

He was taken to Dubuque to acquire cure.

Limani spoke with Community 4 News Wednesday right before the cafe opened its doorways.

Since the cafe is relatives-operate, they believed it was far better to shut down, which also meant letting go of its employees.

“Our daughter works in below, two sons perform right here also when they are off faculty,” said Limani. “My spouse is below fairly a lot all the time, and me.”

Luli’s has been serving the community for two many years, but the pandemic compelled the cafe to close in the summer.

Group users noticed and came to aid them out.
