Guam’s Vinnesha Blas, a Coast Guard petty officer 3rd course, was showcased on the stadium big display screen by the Washington Nationals all through a Tuesday activity towards the New York Mets. 

A former bodybuilder, design and make-up artist on Guam, Blas was shown on the stadium Jumbotron at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. when the workforce was celebrating U.S. Coastline Guard Working day. 

Just before the sport, Coastline Guard members lined the field prior to the nationwide anthem and a MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from the Coastline Guard flew in excess of the stadium, in accordance to the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network.

Adm. Linda Fagan, Coast Guard commandant, threw out the ceremonial initially pitch and Blas shipped the lineup card. 

Blas, a 2015 graduate of John F. Kennedy Superior School, is the daughter of Vinny and Char Blas of Dededo.
