BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – 870 new companies were registered statewide for the duration of December 2021, in accordance to Secretary of Condition Mac Warner.

Warner claimed Summers County led the condition in the share of new business enterprise registration advancement for the month with a total of 19 new corporations, a 2.69% enhance.

The Secretary of State’s Business enterprise & Licensing Division reported that Pendleton, Lincoln, Tyler and Monroe counties also had notable growth in the course of the month.

A overall of 13 new business enterprise entities registered in Pendleton County in December 2021. In Lincoln County, eight businesses registered. Tyler County noticed 5 new organization registrations and Monroe County registered 10 new companies with the Secretary of State’s Office.

Counties that direct the condition in total organizations registered for the month of December have been Kanawha, Berkeley, Monongalia, Jefferson and Cabell. Kanawha County correctly registered 94 businesses in December 2021. Berkeley County described 79 business enterprise registrations. In Monongalia County, 68 enterprises registered. Jefferson County noticed 44 new enterprises register and Cabell County totaled 36 registrations for the month.

Statewide, West Virginia registered 12,323 new enterprises in the past 12-thirty day period period of time, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021.
