As an adult, by my late 20s, I started to sense a little little bit “meh” about Christmas. Guaranteed, it was a wonderful time of year, and I loved observing my family when I could, but I did not really realize the appeal of decorating, baking or most vacation-themed situations.

All of that transformed, even so, when I got into my 30s and had youngsters.

To see Xmas by a child’s eyes, you can’t help but capture some of the vacation spirit. It may audio cliche, but there’s something certainly so magical about it: The create-up to the massive day, producing a letter to Santa, the way their eyes gentle up on Xmas morning, and listening to their pitter-patter footsteps bright and early, sprinting down to the tree.
